We had a busy and wonderful time during Christmas here in Nicaragua! Ken led a team down for an exciting tour of ten locations in the northern section of the country. They made Christmas a little brighter for a total of 544 needy children in poor villages! We even had ten pinatas filled with candy for the kids to bust, which they always enjoy. Then team shared the love of Jesus, the Christmas story, and the plan of salvation at each party.
We are still going up to the church at the dump the first three Sunday afternoon services, and then we hand out the bags of food. Pastor Rickie is an outstanding young man of God; Hee and his family minister to the people there. We are feeding 60 families there now. We fix bags with 6 lbs of beans, 6 lbs of rice, a bottle of cooking oil, coffee, corn flour (to make tortillas), salt, sugar, a bar of soap, and soap for washing clothes. Right now we can make the bags for $10.00; That’s $1,800.00 a month for the food.
We still help the Christian school in Condega too. They close in December till the last week in January. With the assistance of some friends, we were able to give all the workers at the school (15) of them $140.00 each for the time they were out of school. The last week of each month we take food to the school to help with the feeding of the pupils. I would like to thank everyone, individuals and churches, who pray for this ministry and give your hard earned money to help support what we are doing here in Nicaragua. I assure you that every dollar you send here has been put to good use. If you would like to give, and need a receipt for tax purposes, please go online to priorityevangelism.com for mailing address or PayPal. Please mark your gift for Nicaragua missions. You may also donate directly to me if you don’t need a receipt for giving. Send donations to 3014 McKinney Rd Shelby, NC 28152.
In September of this year, I will be celebrating my 9th year of living in Esteli. When the Good Lord saved me, I had no idea that He would bless me so much by allowing me to serve Him here. His Amazing Grace, His Love, His Direction and His Protection are so Wonderful! Who would have though he could use a drunken old drug addict, whose mental abilities were clinically beyond repair, to do these things? Truly a miracle! Think about that; I LOVE YOU ALL!
